In an effort to cut costs, the US Army Uniform board returned to the pull over style in the model 1883 shirt. And the colored piping-it too was dropped. This shirt is made from our 10 ounce dark blue wool flannel and has astand and fall collar, inset sleeves, correct back yoke design, two front pockets and black imitation rubber buttons.
This is the shirt being worn in many Span-Am period photographs.
