All Officer's Jackets are
custom made. It is extremely important you provide us with correct
measurements when you
order. Custom made garments are not returnable.

US JUNIOR OFFICER SHELLJACKET is
single
breasted and identical to the #403 Junior Officer's Frockcoat except the
jacket has no skirt. Standard is our 19 ounce field service wool with
black cotton lining and natural
cotton sleeve lining. A deluxe wool and lining are offered at extra
cost. Nine button front, 3 button functional cuffs.
Jacket is priced without Officer Shoulder Boards which would be worn with
this field uniform. Epaulettes are not worn on the jacket.
The gold sleeve braid
is visible on the jacket on the left in the enlarged view. Although
the braid was not regulation, there are numerous examples of originals in museums that have this braid
on the sleeves. Some have the braid in black, others in gold. The pattern
indicates the rank and is taken from the
cloak coat sleeve braid design. If the sleeve braid is ordered, the
cuffs are non-functional tube style and the buttons are just decorative.

cutting and sewing uniforms. Our seamstresses are trained to
sew, but they are not trained in sales.

service that you deserve. Walk-in customers are sometimes
disappointed after a long drive.
