US GENERAL OFFICER'S FATIGUE BLOUSE (SACKCOAT) (Civil War era 1858-1871) is double
breasted and made using our 19 ounce field service wool.
An Officer's deluxe dark blue wool is
available at extra cost. Our
reproduction features, as standard, a body length 3" longer than the
Enlisted Blouse. An extra long version, or a shorter version (same
as Enlisted length) are available as options. The extra long length
features a split back vent. The standard length version and the
short length version do not have a split back vent.
The coat features a rolled dark blue velvet collar and
cuffs as seen at far left. Civilian style notched collar can be ordered in place of the
standard roll collar at extra cost- click back to the Senior Officer's
blouse to see picture. The standard body length is mid-way between
the hip and knee.
Cuffs are faced with dark blue velvet and are tube style
(non-functional) with 3 small buttons on each. Coat is lined with
black cotton and has natural sleeve linings. Coat is priced without officer shoulder
boards. If the Edge Braid is ordered, it is not placed on the velvet
collar or cuffs. Made in the
USA!
The General Service Eagle buttons in 4x2 button pattern
for Brigadier General; or 3x3 button pattern for Major General are
standard.
All Officers Uniforms are custom made. Correct measurements are extremely important. Because we cannot accept returns on
custom clothing, please visit the measurements page
and submit your measurements when you order.
