#820-1861 REGULATION CONFEDERATE ENLISTED KEPIThe 1861 Confederate Army uniform regulations specified a chasseur style cap having gray colored top and sides and a specific colored lower band to indicate the branch of service. From observations of surviving originals, it appears very few of these caps were ever made or issued. Our reproduction is made using high quality wool with leather brim, sweatband and adjustable chinstrap. There is no brass slide on the chinstrap. Cotton lined with “CSA” side buttons.
