Our Confederate Vests are made using either the standard wools or deluxe grades of wool or wooljean on the front. Also offered are either a standard or deluxe quality cotton on the back. The Notched lay down collar is very comfortable around the wearer's neck. It features a 7 button front. The vest also has two exterior waist double welt pockets but no interior pockets.
Military buttons are supplied. The back is adjustable by means of a belt with buckle. The lining is natural cotton. Buttonholes, whether machine-sewn or hand-sewn, are done in a color appropriate to the fabric color.
Most officer's vests are custom made. Because custom orders are not returnable, please go to the measurements page and submit your measurements when you order.
