#1321 RICHMOND DEPOT I JACKET- (Issue period from Spring ’62 through Mid ’63)-  Typically worn by units in the Army of Northern Virginia, Richmond Depot jackets feature a 6-piece body and 2-piece sleeve construction and usually a 9-button front. Bottom of jacket has a corner (square cut), and is natural cotton lined with an inside left breast pocket.  Buttonholes, whether machine-sewn or hand-sewn, are done in a color appropriate to the fabric color.

Our reproduction jacket has a round front collar with branch of service colored piping around the top and bottom of the collar and the inverted “V” on the cuff. Shoulder straps are standard and have the piping around the edges also. Tape trim (3/8” wide, surface applied) may be substituted at no extra charge.  Collars are square corner if the tape is requested.

Richmond Depot style belt loops are sewn at the top and bottom.  The "CSA" or Block  “A”, “C”, or “I” Letter buttons are supplied but not sewn on. Made in the USA!

All Richmond Depot I jackets are  custom made for each order. Please allow 6 weeks for delivery. Because custom orders are not returnable, please visit our measurement page, and submit your measurements when you order.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our address is the address to our factory, we do not have a storefront staffed by sales persons. We are all cutting and sewing uniforms. Our seamstresses are trained to sew, but they are not trained in sales.

If you would like to visit, we are happy to accommodate, but PLEASE! Please call us 3 to 4 days in advance to schedule an appointment.

That way you will get the attention and service that you deserve. Walk-in customers are sometimes disappointed after a long drive.

Don't be disappointed! Please call in advance and schedule a time that we can spend with you one-on-one!

Thank you!
