#606-CONFEDERATE ENLISTED FOOT GREATCOAT (Infantry)- The Confederate Foot Style Greatcoat is single breasted with a standing collar and has
an elbow length cape. This coat is made from our quality 21 ounce field
service wool
with a heavy cotton twill body lining that extends below the waist. An
optional wool body lining is available at extra cost.
The Confederate pattern greatcoat features tube
style sleeves without the fold down cuffs found on Union greatcoats.
Split back seam with two-piece
belt with two buttonholes and one button for waist adjustment. The hem is
left raw as per originals. Five button front, and 6-button cape, “CSA”
buttons are supplied but not sewn on. Buttonholes,
whether machine-sewn or hand-sewn, are done in a color appropriate to the
fabric color.
The CS Foot Greatcoat is
typically stocked in sizes 44/42R and 48/46R in Medium Grey wool. Other
sizes and colors are available on custom order.
