3 SHELLJACKET- All
Columbus Depot jackets are made using the wool jean material.
Jackets have natural
cotton lining and medium blue kersey wool collar and straight cuffs.
The Third model jacket has one exterior pocket on the left side and the interior pockets
have been dropped. The type 3 comes with a square cut front design and
7-button front. This jacket is slightly shorter and the back is cut
straight across rather than to a point.
Either Block “I” or Wood buttons are supplied but not sewn on.
Our reproduction Third Model jacket is copied from the original jacket worn by William Randolf of the 6th
Kentucky Infantry.
Made in the USA!
Buttonholes, whether machine-sewn or hand-sewn, are done in a color
appropriate to the fabric color.
