M-1872 ENLISTED MOUNTED SERVICES DRESS COAT-
(Cavalry and Light Artillery)-
Our model 1872 dress coat is made using our high quality 16 oz deluxe dark blue
wool
with a natural corset jean body lining, and black skirt lining. Trimmed in
yellow for Cavalry and red for Horse Artillery. This dress coat is
a stunning example of the design and style that went into the post Civil
War uniforms. This coat style replaced the Shelljacket as the dress
uniform coat for Cavalry and Mounted Artillery.
Made in the USA!
The musician's dress coat is shown at lower left with optional Chief Trumpeter chevrons. Artillery would, of course, have
red
trim. For rank chevrons, click on Chevrons.
